EnerVision is licenced by NRCan to provide R-2000 since 2001.

R-2000 Training. One or more of your staff must complete the two-day course in Building Design, Building Envelope and Mechanical Systems. EnerVision is licenced to provide this NRCan-endorsed training, which is a requirement for building homes ot the R-2000 Standard.

EnerGuide Label. The R-2000 Standard includes an energy consumption target for each house, which is quantified using the EnerGuide Rating Service. Click here to see our About EnerGuide page.

Technical Requirements. The standard also includes a series of technical requirements for ventilation and airtightness. Inspectors, Plan Evaluators, and HRV installers must be certified by the HRAI institute of Canada.

R-2000 Picklist. The R-2000 picklist captures green building upgrades made to your homes. The picklist is structured to allow you some flexibility in upgrades and design choices made to your homes, while still ensuring that your homes meet a high standard for environmental responsibility, water conservation, and indoor air quality.

Greener Homes. The primary outcome of your participation in the R-2000 program are homes that are more energy efficient, have a lower ecological footprint, and healthier to live in.

Higher Quality Homes. Because R-2000 is a leading-edge building science program, your participation puts you ahead of the curve and helps differentiate you from your competition.

Training. EnerVision offers all of the necessary training to get your staff up-to-speed and certified to build R-2000 homes.

CEA Services. Our CEAs will work with you on a continual basis to improve your designs, model and test your homes for all components of the R-2000 Standard.

Quality Assurance. As with all of our services, we continually monitor our service levels to make sure you are satisfied with and understand all aspects of the R-2000 Standard.

Certification. EnerVision is fully licenced to certify R-2000 homes. We handle documentation submission to NRCan as well as delivery of your final R-2000 label.
